Southern Lifts has raised the benchmark with a

At Southern Lifts based in Melbourne, we know the
industry extremely well, Colin Stannard one of the companies original
founders has worked in the business for many years. He observed
the changes in attitude towards the lift, recognised that it was
a rapidly growing sector, and established the company in 2002.
In early 2005 Andy Watkins joined Colin as an equal
partner. Andy ran his own stair lift company in the UK for 13
years, and brings not only additional experience and know-how,
but vision and perspective based on his observations of industry
growth and breakthroughs in the UK and Europe.
The directors recognise the on-going social changes
that are making the lift a significant part of our way of life.
The contemporary design of the multi-level home with the car-space
at the bottom level and the kitchen/dining zone at the top, is
just one example of how the lift is becoming an intrinsic part
of our way of life.
Southern Lifts' aim is to produce quality products, sourced locally
and internationally, that serve those needs. Southern Lifts also
recognises that an important part of the process is taking what
was once considered as being financially unattainable for most
people and making it an achievable price option.
